Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are receiving an i30 error code on your Frigidaire dishwasher. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Restore power and start your dishwasher. If this does not correct the i30 error code, I suggest you contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

so.... as expected, i did one full load and found the error re-occur. Here's is what fixed it:
Additionally this time i tipped and emptied the pan, this removed the i30 error code (over flow warning) but replaced it with a i20 (Draining problem) - whilst i had it tipped, i removed the end of the drain hose where it connects to the machine.
When i blew through it - i did not get through to the drain. so i took the other end off (under the sink) and checked it - i flushed the length of the hose with hot water, (placing a pail at the low end and pouring down the high end) although lots of crud came out - i was sure that there was enough to completely block it - so next i checked the plumbing under the sink for blockage. - you know that little junction on the side of the drain pipes where the DW drain attaches. It was jammed full!
Because it's a little tight in there a few shards of metal, plastic, and glass had gathered - catching larger chunks of food = once cleared, reassembled = no more i20 error, which was causing the i30 error, and fully fixed!

Check the pressure sensor for grease. If the board doesn't see it. The machine will over fill and drain into a pan under the door. Then it fills up the lower pan causing the float to lift and creating the i30 code. The pump runs all the time incase the inlet valve fails. First turn off the machine at the breaker and turn off the water. Next pull out th machine and locate the pressure sensor. It will be in the sump. Unclip it and pull it out. Clean out with Q tip and hot water. Put it all back
clear all codes in program and test on a quick cycle. Should do the trick. Why can't all answers be like this. Something to think about

^ thank you anonymous. There doesn't seem to be much repair advice on this appliance yet but your answer is pretty spot on, unlike the "official brand answer" above that basically tells you to call a Frigidaire service tech.

After trying to reset by flipping the breaker numerous times, I also had the i30 error - frequently, also it would pump continuously, even when empty, or refuse to pump and leave water in the bottom (more often).

I read the "tip it" solutions and here is what i found: there is a collection pan in the bottom of the machine. this catches leaked water and saves your floor, - so it's a good thing!. Also there is a switch that has a piece of styrofoam as a float that is activated when the pan is full, before it overflows.

Tipping the machine, empties the pan and you are good again until it fills. However you may need to do it over and over again, if you don't address the leak.

Whilst i had it on its face down - i also removed the pan and checked everything i could find for leaks - and couldn't readily find any.... my leak may have been from using normal dish soap which caused it to leak suds everywhere, or maybe a fault in the door seal - i removed some crusties from there too, hopefully that'll take care of it - if it fills the pan again, next time I'll get more creative looking for leaks......

Hope that helps - Don

It's the pressure switch clogged with grease. Pull it out and clean it with a Q tip.

SOURCE: Frigidaire Dishw. Error code CL

this just happened to ours and it turned out to be the gasket that seals the door.

when you see the CL error and the door is indeed shut, pull gently back on the door. if you hear a click and the unit starts running again, it may be the gasket.

ours lost it's ability to keep the seal, allowing enough 'play' in the locking mechanism for it to think the door was not closed.

SOURCE: DISHWASHER AEG 80860

Just fixed a similar problem on an AEG F3A by following other advice on this site. Simply tip the machine forwards on to its door (best empty it of crockery first!!!).and then put it upright again when water has stopped dripping out of it. You wil get quite a bit of water on your floor which I reduced by pumping the water out of the salt resevoir first - but if you don't have a pump just have several towels handy

SOURCE: dishwasher not draining completely

I was having the same problem with water sitting at the bottom of my dish washer. I had recently installed a new garbage disposal when the problem started. You need to make sure that you knock out the inlet valve where the disposal drain line hooks up. If you have never hooked up a washer to your disposal, this piece will be in place. Stick a flat head screwdriver in where the drain hooks up and hit it with a hammer and the small plastic circle will pop out. The washer does not use any water when that is blocked and therefore will leave the old water to turn rancid...I hope this helps!

SOURCE: how can I reset an i30 (flood control) error?

you have to mopp up any water in the base of the machine. this can be caused by a leak . a sagging pressure pipe to the pressure switch can do it as well. you can tie it up to stop the sag. its at the front behind the plinth area.

I’m getting i30 error code due to my accidentally putting dish liquid (not for dishwasher) in my Frigidaire dishwasher. I can’t get it to reset. It drains constantly. It’s unplugged now/

If you can get it to drain you might try putting a couple of pan of water into machine to clean it out reset by holding down speed button and soil level button together until it gives a sound

Frigidaire dishwasher fault code i30 and drain pump is always running

I'll presume you have since cut the power??.

That error code should be in your owners manual but (once again) suspect debris is messing up the water level sensing system and telling the pump "the tub ain't empty yet!".

An exploded view of your unit should be available from a parts supplier and you can decide if you want to pull the DW and explore further. Often, a simple clean out solves the problem.

Error code i30 (leak). How to fix it?

Hello friend, I appreciate your inquiry!

Based off my understanding your dishwasher is displaying an error code of I30. An I30 error code means this could be an issue with your aqua control. I would suggest performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If you continue to receive an I30 error code after the reset I would recommend having a professional technician out. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. -Matt

What is an i30 error code for frigidaire dishwasher

Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!

On your Frigidaire dishwasher "i30" stands for aqua control. You should perform a reset on your dishwasher and that could clear any false error codes. To reset your dishwasher you can flip the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not work you could be experiencing an issue with your water inlet valve or control panel. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt
