SHARP AR 5012 developer reset

Hi there. I've renewed a SHARP ar 5012 copier, refilled toner, refilled developer, changed drum unit, everything worked fine, but I've got an error message, the toner/developer lamp blinking, and I tried the C exposure C exposure 24 Start 06 Start method, no success...
Whats the problem?

Well first off if you changed the drum Unit you should reset the counter for that as well. And before you do a developer reference make sure your white reference measurement is cleaned that's the white strip underneath the glass. , Are you aware that you are suppose to enter sub-codes. If you need help and r in the Ct area contact us.

Sharp AR 235, output light

You have to change the Developer in the developing unit. code is: AR271D
This procedure must be done by a copier tech.

Sharp AR-M160 Maintenance light and developer replacement light have come on together. Where do I get developer from?

It's not developer light.
It is drum unit light and maintenance.
You have to replace the Drum, Blade and Developer.
After changing them you have to reset the maintenance, drum, developer counter.
This procedure must be made by a copier tech.

But if you still want only the developer the code is AR-202D

Sharp copier ar-bc320 error code??

the DK message means it is time to replace the black drum unit. the drum unit is called an ARC26DU. open the front cover. remove the toner cartridge/s by lifting the green lever and pulling the toner out. Open the left side door. look at where you just pulled out the toner and there is one screw (facing you) holding each drum in place - loosen the screw and pull the drum unit out towards you....slide in the new drum unit.
to reset drum counter go into SIM mode by pressing the following keys one after the other "P" "*" "C" "*" then 24 and start/copy key then 7 then select the color drum you are replacing and confirm reset. make sure copier restarts afterwards

DO NOT refill these toner cartridges (even if you can find someone to do it) The toner cartridges for these machines have generally had ongoing problems as far as longevity and quality - refilling them will only make it worse.

Developer sign

The developer doesn't need to be reset on AR series machines. Toner and developer are in one cartridge. There is a drum reset. That is service code 24-07.

Did you replace the drum as well?

Sharp copier ar-5316

That unit uses an AR-016TD Toner/Developer Cartridge. The developer is changed each time you replace the toner. To remove the drum unit open the right side cover, then the front cover, remove the TD cartridge, loosen the green screw on the front of the developer unit housing just above the TD slot. carefully remove the DV unit without tipping or you will spill out the existing DV. Then you can pull out the drum unit. There may be a green screw on the drum that must be loosened but I don't think so on that particular model. Installation is the reverse of removal.
