Pmp500 mixer desk 8 channels

The flashing green light on your Behringer Pmp500 mixer desk indicates that it's receiving a signal, but it's unclear why the first 4 channels aren't working. Make sure that all cables and connections are properly secured and that the power supply is adequate for the mixer's needs. If the issue persists, you may need to consult a professional for further troubleshooting or repair.

How do I plug mixer into pa speakers, monitors, instruments

Without knowing what make and model of the gear you're looking to connect, I can't give you a definitive answer. However, in general, if you have a powered PA mixer, meaning it has both a mixer section and a power amp section in a single box, the main speaker outputs will be on the rear panel of the box and marked as such. There will also be a jack for monitors, but some mixers have an amp for monitors, some just have an output for the monitor mix, but not an amp for them, and on some you can switch the main outputs to feed either a Left and a Right speaker, or a front mono speaker and a montior speaker. Instruments will go into the individual channel inputs.

Recording problem

1. Press and hold down the ASSIGN A button (the light should be blinking) then (simultaneously) press the REC button above channel number 1. The light should blink when you do this.
2. Release the ASSIGN A and the REC button
3. Press the REC button above channel 1 (the light should be blinking by itself)
4. You should see the meters moving with in the display above Input A and Track 1 when you speak into the microphone.
5. Press the REWIND button twice until the display reads ABS 00.00.00.00
6. Press and hold the RECORD button and press the PLAY button. The REC light above channel one, the PLAY light and the RECORD light should become solid.
7. After recording press the STOP button.
8. Press the REWIND button twice until the display reads ABS 00.00.00.00
9. Press the PLAY button.

Flashing lights

Were you able to get this fixed? I've been having the same issues and the Fishman support team's instructions for cleaning the pots didn't fix it.

"Elan stopped working doesn't give us much to go on... does it light? Do you hear anything in it? Are you activating it from DMX or as standalone?

Hi , I wonder if you could shed some light on a problem my son has with his behringer pmh3000 amp. With the digital effects set to any number it constantly reverts to 1. Also when effects are turned on...

You say lights flash? There are a lot of LED's on the unit and there are displays. Depending on what you mean by "lights" sends us on a whole different path. Remeber the effects ADD to the noise as they add into the buss to the amps. You should have the Effect to MAIN knobs not too high... say 12 o'clock. Same for the effect send knobs for the channels. If all the LED's flash, better stop using the unit as there is a power supply problem and damage will occur.
Please read my tip on here about the hazard of Channel A output when using Speakon to 1/4 inch speaker cables or adapters. The SHELL or SLEEVE of channel A cable is the HOT one, NOT the tip so never let that shell touch or connect to ground. The effect window when first powered should display a zero, not one... If it displays 1 at first, unit needs to be taken for repair as there is a defect.

Connect ALL interconnected equipment to the same receptacle or power conditioner source. Pro's run extension cord back to mixer if they have other stuff on stage. The speaker cables should connect to NOTHING other than speakers... do NOT try to tap off the daisy chain outputs of speakers for anything other than speakers. Use balanced lines and isolating DI boxes to avoid ground loops. Make sure to only poower this from a grounded receptacle.

Channel sliders will not bring up lights but the flash buttons do work. Only way to get all the lights on at once is to push the Full-on button.

Verify that you have a terminator resistor at the end of your DMX cable of there are several units daisy-chained. The resistor prevents digital signals from reflecting causing confusion of the data stream. Read up on DMX termination via google.
