Try to reinstall the cartridge and press NEW, then go through alignment process.

remove the cartridge and using a damp cloth wipe the ink openings...this might fix the issue.

u sure litte thing on new ink is off platci cover that protects them download the latest driver ok from kodak website try it again thx nick

1 Be sure you have enough ink or film in your fax machine

it sounds like either you didn't peel off the plastic cover the ink cartridge or it is a defective cartridge.

the only reason your machine will not print tham automatically is if you are having a printer error/out of paper/toner-ink

wipe off the contacts on back ink cartridge with a microfiber towel moistened with alcohol also wipe of the printhead (area where ink cartridge contacts the paper) then reinstall and try printing.

2 possibilities

1- you did not remove the plastic film on the cartridge
2- the printhead has dried up

The problem lies with the refilled cartridge. 1.) Try wiping the bottom of the cartridge with a moist paper tower, to clear up any dried ink. 2.) Put cartridge back in and use the "clean nozzle" feature on the fax machine. 3.) If these steps don't work, it is best to take the refilled cartridge back to the place and have them take a look. Sometimes it can be salvaged. WHY: The print-head (bottom part of the cartridge, retangular shaped, where the ink comes out) is blocked, thus the ink isn't able to come through. This is NOT any fault of the ink refilling service, but rather a wear and tear issue with the cartridges. Most refilled cartridges will work perfectly fine and save you a lot of money.
