Why can't I access my new (second) gmail account?

Hi,

on the top right, where the picture icon is given, click on it and it shows the option "add account" click on it and add your account.

Sign out of your first account by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out." You can then sign in to your second account.

You can only access one gmail account at a time.
To get to the others, you have to first sign out of the one you are presently signed into.

1. When you are in gmail, click on the icon in the top right corner (the icon that is to the right of the icon that looks like a box with a "+" sign in it).
2. Click on "Sign Out".
3. On the "Sign Out" page, click on "Sign in with a different account".
4. Here you should be able to access the gmail account you prefer.

Maybe, try setting-up a second Gmail account, then send transfer) your emails from the old username account to the new username account. If this works, then either try deleting the messages from the old gmail account and transfer the messages from the new gmail account back to the original gmail account ... or ... just delete the old gmail account if you successfully transferred them to the new gmail account.

Most likely, you're using the wrong password. Most times this is because you have accidentally enabled CAPS LOCK when you were creating the account, or you were using the numeric pad whilst it was disabled (hence you didn't type any numbers in the password, although you thought you were). Try to login and use the password you know but enable CAPS LOCK or disable NumLock before you type it (i.e. try replicating what your keyboard status was)
If unsuccessful, either give up the account and create a new one or try calling Google support - but keep in mind they may suspect you're trying to hack into someone's account, unless you know all the details AND you're using 2 way authentication (i.e. you have added a mobile number where you can receive an SMS with a code)

It sounds like your gmail is defaulting to one that you don't want, and you want it to default to a different one. When you go to gmail, it automatically takes you to the last gmail account that you logged onto.
To get to your preferred gmail account, you have to sign out of the one you don't want. To sign out,

1. When you are in gmail, click on the icon in the top right corner (your "account" icon).
2. Click on "Sign Out".
3. On the "Sign Out" page, click on "Sign in with a different account".
4. Here you should be able to access the gmail account you prefer.

"me " is not an e-mail address
it has to be ----@----( example ---joe doe@gmail,com)
if you want to send a test e-mail to your self to test the new e-mail you have to put in your full address in the to line then press send

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Need help?" link on the sign-in page.
