No sound on TV

Please double-check your connections between the cable box and TV. If the problem persists, resetting the TV by pressing and holding the [ACTION] and [POWER] buttons down on the TV remote until the words "SELF CHECK" appears may fix the audio problem.

Apple ipad, tv series I was going to watch is frozen on Netflix. I tried shutting it off and it doesn't work

Try netflix by using your computer if its not working its a netflix problem. If its working try rebooting apple tv by disconnecting the power cable. If its still doesn't work try a restore via itunes by using a micro usb cable

My hdtv just went black. my cable is on and all connections are good. The green on light is lit but no picture.

Try unpugging the HD cable box "from the world"...unplug power cord, cable tv coax, cat5 cable to router etc, EVERYTHING. Wait 1/2 minute and plug everything back in. The cable box will reboot. Try that but can't promise that will work for sure.

DVI Alert, your HDTV does not support HDCP. what does this mean? Please use YPrPb component connection to watch

Ok so, I was having the same exact problem but I got mine to work.

Make sure you have your HDMI cable is connected from the TV and cable box....

1)Turn off your tv and reboot your cable box (my cable box was rebooted by pushing the following buttons AT THE SAME TIME: "info," "vol ," and "vol-").

2)Once your cable box reboots completely, power it and the TV on...

3)Push your INPUT button on the actual TV REMOTE. Give it a couple of seconds and then use your CABLE BOX REMOTE to begin switching the channels. Your HD channels will be in the 600's if you have the same cable company as I do.

Hope this helps...it worked for me

NOTE: Your COAXIAL should only be plugged in from the cable outlet on the wall to the cable box. Your HDMI cable will be the one to plug FROM the CABLE BOX to the TV

My lcd tv has a purple screen and no sound

same problem all set to replace TV but tried another source DVD instead of dish and it was fine. Possible the cable (cheap HDMI) but reboot the dish (hard) pull the plug and fixed it up, probably the HDMI connection at the source or the TV (or the cable)

Change your input source. You are probably on Input Source "TV". My HDMI cable is plugged in INPUT 4 so make sure that your TV is set to the right INPUT.
