DVI Alert, your HDTV does not support HDCP. what does this mean? Please use YPrPb component connection to watch
Ok so, I was having the same exact problem but I got mine to work.
Make sure you have your HDMI cable is connected from the TV and cable box....
1)Turn off your tv and reboot your cable box (my cable box was rebooted by pushing the following buttons AT THE SAME TIME: "info," "vol ," and "vol-").
2)Once your cable box reboots completely, power it and the TV on...
3)Push your INPUT button on the actual TV REMOTE. Give it a couple of seconds and then use your CABLE BOX REMOTE to begin switching the channels. Your HD channels will be in the 600's if you have the same cable company as I do.
Hope this helps...it worked for me
NOTE: Your COAXIAL should only be plugged in from the cable outlet on the wall to the cable box. Your HDMI cable will be the one to plug FROM the CABLE BOX to the TV
