For iPhone / iPad you will need AppleTV, but that costs a lot more.

No what you need is a smart TV with an internet connection as well as the Netflix app

Yes you need a Roku, Apple Tv or something that will connect your tv to your router. This will plug into your tv with an HDMI cable and connect to your router wirelessly or to your modem directly if you don't have a router.
