Sometimes when I am on my laptop the arrow for my cursor disappears and I can not do anything unless I can get the arrow keys to take me to something.

Go to the Control Panel, using the menu (keys control+ESC).

Using the arrow keys.

Using the tab keys go to mouse icon and then pointers and make the changes to reveal the cursors.

Hi,toshiba satelite pro L20 beeps when start up

Run check disk for hard drive errors. I recommend immediately backing up all your data that you can, wiping it, and reinstalling your programs. The rebooting problem smells like a bad hard drive. I just went through it with a Compaq at work.

First thing to try is to pick up handset or place on speaker. On the answer machine itself without trying to call your cable providers voice mail service...press the message button to ensure all messages have been heard or erased.
Second, unplug your phone power from the wall and wait two minutes before powering on the phone.
Last replace batteries in the phone if you have batteries in the phone now...may be low battery signal.

The arrow is frozen on my laptop other than that the pc is working normally

Could be the mouse lock key. I am unsure as to which key it is on yours. Mine is the F9 key. it will have a picture of 2 mouse on , 1 with a no go sign over it (circle with a diagonal line through) try pressing the "fn" key and F9 and see if this unlocks the cursor.
