Does it have a battery? Removing for a few minutes seems to work, but keep in mind current BIOS setting might change.

Sometimes the files become corrupted and you have to re-install the drivers and any softwear that operates your wi-fi.I've had to do that with mine a couple of times.

you may need to buy the whole bezel around the LCD, if you have the bezel you jus use a pry tool to open the plastics tabs around the LCD bezel.

When it's starting up, keep tapping F8 until the Safe Mode options show up on the screen and select Safe Mode.

locate the jumpers for reseting the BIOS with hardware... beware all settings on CMOS would be restored to default factory settings and password will be erased. Jumpers would be on the mobo near the proc/ near the memory modules/ near the edge etc...learn to use the jumpers from manuals for ur model of laptop...cos each model varies in the location and use of jumpers

Please restart the computer and repeatedly tap the F8 key (you need to press F8 before windows starts to load)

A menu should appear. Select Safe Mode and press Enter

There are 16 different Satellite L505 models. There is a number after L505, like "L505-6826"

Go to this page and at the top of the page is product support. Choose "laptop computer > satellite > then your model number. There is an online manual that you can read from their web site, or download it to your computer.
