Control knob doesnt adjust flame height?

Use a manometer to insure lp gas pressure is correct. The regulator for the stove may need adjusting. The air mixture adjustment may not be correct for PL as well.

Bluestar rangetop clicks several times before igniting

Do other appliances in your home using LP gas work properly? If so, then this is probably an air/fuel mix problem on the burner(s). If this is a new rangetop there should be directions with the range and the LP conversion kit to instruct on proper adjustments. Be certain the correct LP orifice was installed for each burner (they likely have different BTU ratings for different sized burners) and the ignitor post is clean and spaced properly to burner. Then adjust the air mix to achieve a blue flame with just a tip of yellow. Delayed ignition usually results from the wrong air/gas mixture which doesn't ignite until too much fuel has accumulated. In many locations the company you purchase LP gas from will have someone who can check and adjust this. If the range was shipped from the factory as LP gas ready, then you can also contact your dealer and request assistance.

New cooktop ! long flame yellow tips black deposits on pans

This is probably the result of inefficient burning of gas resulting in sooty deposits being left on the base of saucepans etc. It may be that the gas jets are blocked with spilt material and need cleaning. Try removing the gas hub with the gas jet holes in and sliding a paperclip sized rod into each hole to dislodge any material. Blow in the holes afterwards to force any loose material out. If this fails you may need a gas fitter to adjust the gas mixture regulators.

SGCS304RS The two left burners work. The two right burners, spark but no gas comes out.

The regulators are clogged and so there is no gas flow due to this. use a good brush to clean the burner tops so as to get the mixture of gas /air correct. Use pressurized air to clean the valve, clean the JETS and reset.

Side burner on Jennaire grill

Hello
The soot stains come from the air mixture, that will show too much yellow flame tips, just adjust the air intake, too have an idea how much to adjust it, and also it wouldn't hurt to clean the flames holes by sticking a pin. Alos make sure you have the right fittings converters. It's the grill LP Gas or Natural?
