i would try rebuilding and cleaning carburator sounds like it needs to a good cleaning

Well without a model number, I can tell you this. On some models, F3 indicates fan speed 3, which is high speed.If you push the mode button, these units will switch between f1, f2, f3 and smart fan. No problem.
On others, F3 indicates a fan speed error, either something is keeping the fan from turning, or there is a bad or loose connection somewhere.
On still other models, F3 indicates a freon leak or problem in the refrigerant circuit.
If carrier made their own units, they would probably act the same, but they don't. Model number is important, since the unit could be a daikin, LG or Samsung under the skin...

Have to check the speed sensor. Either the speed sensor is faulty or the can be dust or speed sensor alignment.

As I understand it, SMART is correct 50-60% of the time...means it's wrong 40-50% of the time.But..You can't take the risk, you have to assume something is wrong with your hard drive. So, i f you have important data there, go to a repair shop and they can save data from your hard drive and replace it, if necessary. If you want to solve it on our own, you need a boot cd with error checking. Any live boot cd with linux does that. Also, there are several live boot cds like Hiren's Boot, with rescue options.

SMART is used to measure your HDD health.It warns you of impending failure of your hard drive. If it goes down, it's a good idea to backup important stuff and prepare to replace the HDD.

As per experience, SMART Utility will check your HDD for any errors that may occur.

I backed up everything and replaced a new HDD and got rid of the error.

Opened up the problematic HDD and noticed a very light scratch on its "platters".

As for me. Never ignore this warning before something might happen to your HDD and lost important data.

The F1 code means the ERC or the touchpad is bad. When you remove the sensor, the ERC thinks the sensor is bad and so gives an F3 code. You can check your oven sensor just to make sure. This page explains:
