It is trying to its starting point I would suggest is to unplug the unit open the motor shroud unit. The shroud it has a mini manual this should have a calibration instructions that can be done and also upper electronics self test to see if the processor is functioning properly. It should give a better idea which to head. You can call Icon Fitness@ 1-800999-3756

SOURCE: i have a proform 650 v threadmil, and the left side of the buttons panel (start button and incline levels) don't work. could someone help me?

1) tight all connector wires and clean
2) tight the ribbon cables from keypads.
3) Run the software calibration for diagnose, and troubleshooting, and fix it.
4) lube the shaft and gear in the elevation motor,
5) adjust the potentiometer for better running see the diagram.
God bless you

Incline won't work on Proform 400s Treadmill

If you've already replaced the lift motor on your Proform 400s Treadmill and the incline still won't work properly, there may be other underlying issues that need to be addressed. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the wiring: Ensure that all the wiring connections related to the incline mechanism are secure and properly connected. Loose or damaged wiring can cause issues with the incline functionality.
Inspect the incline motor and gears: Examine the incline motor and gears for any signs of damage, misalignment, or obstruction. Ensure that the gears are engaging properly and that there are no obstructions preventing the incline from moving up and down smoothly.
Reset the treadmill: Perform a full system reset on your treadmill. This can often resolve minor software glitches or issues that may be affecting the incline function. Consult your treadmill's user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
Contact customer support: If you have followed the above steps and the issue persists, it is recommended to reach out to the customer support of Proform or the retailer from whom you purchased the treadmill. They should be able to provide further troubleshooting guidance or arrange for professional repair assistance if needed.
Remember to exercise caution when working with electrical components or performing any repairs on your treadmill. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with the process, it is advisable to seek assistance from a qualified technician or the manufacturer's customer support to ensure proper diagnosis and resolution of the issue.

Why does my Proform 650 LT beep at me and not work?

A power reset is the only help given. One article suggests a factory reset for 3 or 4 beeps.

Hi. i have a proform sport 6.0. walk on it everyday, I turned it on today. Did not push any buttons it went directly into incline and will not stop.tried pushing buttons and it just keeps inclining.

Most likely lower control board.

This is the circuit board under the plastic hood. Controls the elevation motor.

Unless the console has a stuck or faulty elevation button, then the console is not sending an incline signal.

When a board goes bad the machine will respond with erratic strategies, elevation on max is one example.

When the board is “bad”, it can also not tell it is out of control and won’t throw a code or signal to stop.

Boards are just plug and play, very easy to install. Take an image before removing the old board and you should be able to duplicate the harnesses.

Sounds like the button on the panel is stuck somehow, I think this because when you switch the wires this would reverse the polarity to the incline motor.

can you tell if the panel is recognizing the pushing of the incline buttons, like with a beep or light or something? If it didn't seem like it's responding this may be because one button is constantly stuck down.

My Proform treadmill will not incline. It is stuck at about mid incline. When I turn on the treadmill, it raises and lowers back to mid incline right away. Despite pressing incline buttons, there is no...

Under the hood there should be a tech sheet with calibration instructions. I have not worked on these for several years or I would rattle off the procedure. If the sheet is still there make sure you put it back in the plastic sleeve for next time..... Eric

Proform 360p stuck on incline

I had the exact same problem.

This usually happens if you switch it off at the mains while the incline is adjusting or is somewhere other than lowest. You should always make sure before finishing off, to lower everything.

Now for the solution: If you open up the case it has 5 or 6 black philips (cross head) screws (use your user manual if you don't have your original go to proform and find the support link and download the .PDF if your model is not available get the one before or after in the same model product line (model number is below the power input)).

Make sure you remove the power before opening the cover, obviously.

Anyway, once opened, you should find a sheet of paper wrapped around in some plastic wallet. On that paper it should explain everything. Try not to mess with too much things in the settings, otherwise you might mess it up badly.

Mine is something like: Hold the speed up (+) button and then while holding the button insert the key - that will get you to the service menu (obviously the power has to be connected).

Once in the menu pressing the incline up does a self-calibration (maximum up and maximum down) after that it should be perfect.

Remove the key any time to come out of that mode and resume normal operation.

I may not find this place for any more replies 'cos i only found this site by accident. While looking for info. on my burnt out motor model: PETL 3013.6 .... But i have come across someone selling a faulty one on ebay for like 5 quids... it's picking it up the trouble!
