Why does my a kenmore portable air conditioner tell me to empty the tank. I can't find any "tank/bucket" to empty.

Should e a drain on the back o f the unit to drain condensate water off. It will not run until yo empty it.
tip

Wick won't light

I didn't realize how quickly condensation can enter the tank. Condensation will ruin the wick permanently, even a brand new wick.
To avoid condensation, do NOT empty the tank unless you are replacing the wick, or some other repair requires it. Likewise, do NOT burn the kerosene out, for the same reason: condensation.
When the tank is filled enough, condensation can still enter but the wick will be able to burn and you won't know the difference. But as soon as the kerosene is gone, all the wick has is water.
STORAGE:  When you burn out the kerosene to store it, condensation can enter and you will not be able to use the wick again. So unless it's necessary, don't burn out the kerosene.
If you have to store the heater in a place that requires the tank to be empty, dissassemble the heater before you use it again and make sure the tank is completely dry and contains no water BEFORE you use it again.
I think but I'm not sure, that the tank must have been designed to let some condensation fall to the sides, or somehow get out of the way. But I'm certain this doesn't last because condensatiion is inevitable and it will accumulate.

Were do i get the manuel for model number ph3 12r03 is the model number were or how do I drain the water and can you send me a manual

Here is the link to the manual:

http://s3.amazonaws.com/szmanuals/b0348062b23e23cd40550b61e1dc5f43

Here are those particular instructions:

Compressor Indicator

The " " icon will light up on the control panel display when the compressor turns on. The " " icon will turn off when the compressor shuts off.

Emergency Condensate Holding Tank

When the room temperature is low and the indoor humidity is high, the air conditioner may not be able to evaporate some of the moisture fast enough. When this happens, the water will accumulate in an emergency condensate tank inside the unit. Once the emergency condensate tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and the " " will appear on the control panel display. To empty the condensate tank, unscrew the screw plug at the bottom back of the unit. You will need a small pan, approximately 1" high to catch the water coming out of the condensate tank. Once the condensate tank is drained, the unit will begin working within a few minutes. The emergency condensate tank holds approximate
ly 1.5 Liters of water.

Another option is to purchase a small hose from a hardware store that can fit around the 5/8" drain plug on the back of the unit and drain the unit into a gravity drain or larger pan for continuous drainage.

To resume operation quickly, empty the water container according to the following steps:

1. Turn the unit off. Do not move the unit when the water container is full.

2. Place the drain pan accessory under the drainage port at the back of the unit.

3. Remove the screw plug from the drain hole. The condensate water will drain out automatically. When the drain pan is full, screw the screw plug back onto the drainage hole to stop the water flow. Empty the drain pan. Repeat until all the water is emptied.

Once the water container has been emptied, screw the plug back onto the drain hole. Do not allow the
water to drip continuously into the drain pan, as it might easily overflow.

There is no drain pipe for the unit I have. It has a cap on the back but no hold, how does the condensation.

Self Evaporating Technology - During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. Approximately 65 to 70% of water condensed is evaporated out with the exhaust air, reducing the hassle of emptying the water tank constantly. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet, and a water tube. When the tank fills, the compressor stops operating and the power light will flash. This indicates that the tank should be emptied.

Fuel light came on,tank nearly empty, started bike up next morning and idles ok but badly misfires when try to accelerate, filled tank up with mobil 98 octane which i have used before and it still misfires...

Chances are condensation has collected in the carb float bowl. Drain the carb. Yes, keep the tank filled. This will lessen condensation. You may want to install a new spark plug as well.

I have a 2000 mustang and my fuel guage works fine. But 7 gallons fills it up from empty. As I drive the guage travels from full to empty just like it should. I do not have any dents in my tank.

I do not think you have any dents in your tank, nor do I think its empty when the guage indicates that it is.

It is more then likely a fuel level sending unit which is located inside of the tank. They are not fun to replace, empty the gas, drop the tank, and then replace the sensor.

Hoover 381/1 condenser tumble dryer empty water

Got a similar problem with an HNC172. The supplier said it is the water indicator sensor that is not working. He fixed it! It still stops!!! Clear lint from the trap in the door. Empty what little water there is in the tank, then make sure it has a good shove to get it back into place and the tube/catch is well joined back. Also take out the condenser unit above water tank, stick in the bath and put the shower hose through it to clear lint. Recommend getting a tea strainer over the plug hole or you block your drain as quite a bit comes out. It helped for a while, but it still has problems. Might be the thermostat for the heater? check the error codes. They flash a different number of times within 15 seconds to indicate which problem is happening.

Danby dpac120068 Air Condtioner, where does the hose go? and do you fill the tank in the back with water?

hose goes into a bucket or out a window, drained, etc. it's the drain hose for the condensation. alternatively you can use the tank to catch the condensation, which must be emptied periodically.

Empty water button staying on

Remove lower left filter from dryer, and wash it out under running water. Reach inside the compartment and clean any fluff and gunge you can find there.
Get a plastic bag tie or similar, and feel for and locate a small hole at the rear of compartment, poke it clear with bag tie.
If you are certain that the element and stats are o/k , and it still does not heat and the light stays on, then that indicates that the float switch is stuck or is faulty.
To access this involves stripping the dryer down, not an easy job.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
