How do you open the battery compartment Bell & Howell Splash Wp7 Waterproof Camera

Hop into a camera store

Hold the camera upside down. In the middle on the bottom side is a small grey tab. Push and hold that down and at the same time slide the compartment door to the left. Its tight and might require the use of a knife blade wedged down in the crack between the arrow and the screw the first few times. Yeah it could be easier but it is a watertight seal remember. It only slides about a quarter inch then it opens towards you.

you have to enter the entire tag info from the camera to get anything on line..model serial megapixels etc..

Slide using a thumb finger along the line with slight pressure.

The splash uses an scan disk card in battery compartment .
with thumb pull black button toward back of camera while pushing door toward edge of camera ,batteries and card under door

Pull black button while pushing door toward camera edge ^>

Check the arrorw mark on the batter door & slide that side

It has to be a 16 or less other wise shows error
