remove back panel inside freezer and there is a tray at the bottom with a drain hole in the middle. this is blocked with ice. melt off with a hairdryer and follow up with hot water till it flows waay freely

I'm dealing with the same problem right now with the same refrigerator. The cold water tank (for the front dispenser) has a hole in it that leaks every time someone dispenses water from the front door. You will find the water tank behind the top slide-out drawer in the fridge. The leaked water flows down one of the water tubes through a hole in the bottom of the fridge and onto the floor. I'll bet you have the same problem. Good Luck.

Most likely your defrost drain is frozen over due to a blockage in the defrost drain behind the rear wall of your freezer. Usually this is caused over a period of time or the refrigerator is leaning slightly allowing the water to slowly freeze over the hole. We had this model as well. It is part of the fridges 'defrost system' that prevents icing up in the freezer. I had replaced the computer chip in mine (at a cost of about 150 bucks), when at one point when it failed, and the freezer starting freezing over, and after it was 'fixed', it started leaking water onto the floor again. After another year, we finally bought another fridge. Solution... buy another fridge
