How to increase volume aspire 57386969 - HP Pavilion dv4000 Notebook

Right click on your volume or speaker icon on the taskbar. A window popup will offer several option's to modify the volume.

Ok, you can purchase a good quality Headphone or a woofer to improve your soun quality.
Otherwise you install Winamp with DFX, that also increase your sound quality as well as volume.

Press and hold the Fn key and the Up Arrow to increase volume. (The Fn key is located in the lower left corner of the laptop).
Press and hold the Fn key and the Down Arrow to decrease volume.
Press and hold the Fn key and F8 to mute/unmute the speakers.

press start at the lower left corner and choose control panel to raise the volume sound

These are the Function keys

<Fn> + <↑> Volume up Increases the sound volume.

<Fn> + <↓> Volume down Decreases the sound volume.

<Fn> + <→> Brightness up Increases the screen brightness.
<Fn> + <←> Brightness down Decreases the screen brightness.

you can see volume icon on top of keybord.press FN key and that volume icon key to increase volume.
you can also control volume in start menu->control panel->sound and audio .

go to volume icon at the bottom of your screen(right side).Double click. at volume control,go to Options> right mouse click and select proprities. Check the mic Volume.ok.
In Volume Control you will see Mic volume>uncheck the mute and increase the volume.
go to volume icon again. this time right mouse click and select Adjust audio proprities. select Audio>Sound recording and increase the volume.good luck.

you can increase the volume from the volume control settings.
Click start,all programs,accesories,entertainment,volume control.Change the settings and see if there is any change.

Buy some external speakers and use those
