Good afternoon. I purchased a 2nd hand scooter and it didn't have a manual. I am trying to find out if I can get one. I would like to set the clock. Thank you for your time.......Deb

To order a brake assembly for your 2008 Bronx Colt scooter, you have several options:
1. **Local Scooter Dealerships:** Check with local scooter dealerships or motorcycle shops that specialize in scooters. They might have the parts you need in stock or be able to order them for you.
2. **Online Retailers:** There are various online retailers that specialize in scooter parts and accessories. Some popular options include:
- **eBay:** You can find both new and used parts for scooters on eBay.
- **Amazon:** Amazon offers a wide range of scooter parts and accessories.
- **Scooter-specific Online Stores:** Look for online stores that specialize in scooter parts. Websites like ScooterWorks, Monster Scooter Parts, and Scooter Domain might have the brake assembly you need.
3. **Scooter Forums and Groups:** Join online scooter forums and communities. Members often share advice and recommendations for finding specific scooter parts. They might also know of reliable sources for parts.
4. **Local Motorcycle Parts Stores:** Some local motorcycle parts stores might carry scooter parts as well. It's worth checking with them to see if they can help you source the brake assembly you need.
5. **Scooter Salvage Yards:** If you're open to used parts, you can search for scooter salvage yards or junkyards that might have the specific brake assembly you're looking for.
6. **Manufacturer or Distributor:** Contact the manufacturer or distributor of the Bronx Colt scooter. They might be able to direct you to authorized dealers or provide information about purchasing parts directly.
When searching for scooter parts, make sure to have the exact make, model, and year of your scooter on hand, as well as any specific details about the brake assembly you need. This will help ensure that you're ordering the correct part for your scooter. Additionally, be cautious when purchasing from online sources and verify the credibility of the seller before making a purchase.

Autogo Vision (Autogo 550) ... model shows a quick release mechanism to remove the drive train but it's not made any more so i'm informed.
Most Chinese scooters don't have a good service manual specifically for them, but manuals for similar models or for that engine platform (should be GY6 150 in this case) will work fine for most tasks. You can find some manuals at http://www.49ccscoot.com/manuals/manuals.html
Thanks for writing back, I really do appreciate that.
Yesterday I found another person on E-bay who was selling the same scooter which my husband has been given, and he was very helpful. His scooter was already sold, but he took the time to answer my questions about where to find the serial no. of the scooter, what kind of batteries I'd need, and where to get them cheaper than the official site.
The scooter new, costs about £4000 + but 2nd hand it will only fetch about £700 - £1000. My husband is going to try to use it, and if that doesn't work out, we will just try to sell it.
I have a friend in S.Africa (where we lived for many years, and I have tried in vain to get an instruction book for her ...I think French cooking stove, so I will contact her again for details and see if you can help her.
Thanks again for writing back.
Sincerely, Mabel Farr.
Thanks again for writing back.
most scooters are equiped with a seat that can be turned through ninety degrees so that it i eaier to get on and off the scooter if this is the cae for the scooter you have and own then turn the scooter seat ninety degrees so that the seat is side on to the base then grab a hold of the base of the seat and lift you sould find the scooter seat is easily removeable and can be then replaced in the same manner in some cases you have to hold down the lever that enables the seat to be turned to do this and lift the seat at the same time once you have turned it through the ninety degrees this is the case for almost all mobility scooters now however there are a few exceptions failing this then read te manual you should of got with your scooter when you purchased it however you may not have one if you purchased the scooter second hand but if this is the case you can usually find the appropriate soloution by entering the name and make and model of your particular scooter into a web search engine you may have to visit several web sites before you find the manual you are seeking but most of them are out there in cyberspace somewhere good luck and best wishes I hope your scooter brings you many hours of joy and freedom
I can send you the manual (PDF) if you send me your email address. My address is (D*H*u*d*s*o*n at GMail dot com), you need to take the stars out and put the @ symbol in and the .com to make it usable.
