The problem is either in your charger, the charger cable, or the Galaxy Tab battery.

When you plug the charger into the Tab, does the Tab indicate it is charging? Can you operate the Tab normally when it is plugged into the charger? If you can, then the charger and cable are probably good. If so, leave it charging for 24 hours and then check to see if it has properly recharged.

If you do not see any indication that it is recharging, then either your cable or charger are bad. Can you borrow a new charger and cable from someone else to figure out which is bad?

If you see that it is recharging, then the battery is no longer holding a charge. You can get replacement batteries, but installing them does take some skill. (I see that one seller on EBay has the battery and tools you need to open the case and do the install for around $20.) If you have some experience opening similar cases of cell phones, you should be fine, but if not, you will probably want to consult with someone who does have experience because it can be a little tricky.

Hi I bought samsung galaxy note tablet 10.1 and when I tried to charge there is like charging but is going low what I need to do , please help?

You might need a new battery. I had a similar problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S (8.5" screen). It wouldn't stay charged for long, and would turn off if the battery level got to 1/2 to 1/4. I've had the tablet ever since it came out years ago, so I thought maybe the battery had lost its ability to charge or maintain a constant flow of electricity to keep the electronics happy. I ordered a replacement battery offline and have had no problems. I figured buying a battery and trying that as a fix is cheaper than buying a new tablet. (If it didn't work, I would buy a new tablet.) Now when the battery level gets low, the tablet stays on, doesn't flicker off or freeze like it used to do, and works okay. You can watch a video online how to open the tablet back and replace the battery, plus you get it on a DVD with the battery. The original battery is glued into the tablet; it seems as though you're destroying the tablet when you try to lift it out -- but if you go slow and gently pry it up, it should be okay. It was a gamble and it paid off.

Digiland tablet won't charge. Is there a way to

Depends upon exactly what's happening.

  • When you plug in your charger, does it try to charge the Tablet? ie Does the Charging icon come on the screen briefly when the charger is plugged in with the Tablet turned off, or does the little charging 'lightning' symbol come onto the battery icon on the home screen when the Tablet is running?
  • I assume the battery has gone flat, but will the Tablet turn on when the charger is connected?
If the charging icon comes on, and/or the tablet will run on the charger, then both the charger and the charge port connection on the Tablet are OK, and the most probable cause of failure is the internal battery which will need to be replaced.

However, If neither the icon comes on nor the Tablet runs on the charger, then either the charger has died, or the plug/socket on the Tablet where it connects is faulty. The most likely cause is that the charger has died and will neeed to be replaced

There is a slight chance that the internal charging circuits in the Tablet may have developed a fault, but that is highly unlikely {:o)

It won t charge since the snow storm last Thursday the battery wont stay on

Does it use an AC adapter or a USB cable to charge? The AC adapter or the USB cable could be bad. Try another cable/adapter. Does the tablet show a lightning bolt on the battery icon when you connect the charger or nothing at all? Does the tablet power up when you are connected to a power source? If the answer to both of these questions is yes, then it is probably a bad battery or charging jack. If the tablet is under warranty, contact the store where you bought it or the manufacturer. If it is not under warranty, try an independent cell phone store that might be able to open it for you and see what type of battery you need to replace it. Get the battery pack model number, size, voltage and maH rating and search for a similar battery on Ebay.

Jazz tablet won't open and heats up

Its sounds as if your battery has gone open circuit which means if is now dead and requires to be replaced. Dont continue trying to charge it as you may cause damage to your tablet or cause it to overheat and start a fire.
