This is a common issue with Whirlpool Duet washer however; your whirlpool duet washer needs a reset to resolve the control lock problem. Press and hold the END OF CYCLE/CYCLE SIGNAL button for 15 seconds to reset the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Press and hold the End of Cycle Signal button for three seconds. This will turn off the Control Lock feature.

Try unplugging for 30 minutes, then try to start again. If this doesn't work you probably have a contol board or door lock problem. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

if that does not work you may have a contol issue

book said to hold the end of cycle signal button for three seconds or when the control locked light goes out, good luck

press and hold the drain/spin button for 3 seconds.
