Press del. or f8 to boot to Bios there should be an option for you to remove power saving mode. If none then you probably need to update the bios be careful when updating bioses.
That is because while a computer is in sleep mode, it is still using power to keep the memory. The battery is only used when the computer is turned off. You should replace the battery as soon as you can in order to keep your computer running properly.
When you get the resume failure message, push and hold the power button until the unit turns itself off (usually around 5 seconds). Once it is turned off, press the power button again to turn it on and it should boot right into windows for you.
