I'm not sure of this model, but on codelocks there is normally a small hendel on the inside. Put this in a locked position and you may set the code as you wish and then release the hendel to "lock" the code.
Hi, most security coded radios will display the word "code" or something similar when requesting code entry after power has been removed for some reason. the usual procedure is to simply enter the code at this point following manufacturer procedure.
If you have had more than 3 incorrect attempts at entering the code, the radio may have gone into codelock which locks any further attempts out for a period of time (up to 1 hour). the only cure for this is to leave the radio powered up so it can timeout at which point it may display the word "code" again.
NOTE disconnecting the supply to the radio while it is in this condition only serves to reset the timer and you have to wait even longer.
