That would almost never be caused by a power board issue...there are some people giving advice on here that have no idea what they are talking about unfortunately...Its one of 3 things, main board, tcon board or panel...I would try the tcon board first, there isn't a way to test to see what board is bad unless you have some high end test equipment, like an oscilloscope.
