Point your web browser at http://www.facebook.com

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

Log into the one Facebook account that you wish to delete / deactivate.

On your main Facebook home page for that account click on the ACCOUNT tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Then select ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Scroll to the bottom of that page and then click on DEACTIVATE.

Just follow the on screen instructions and then that particular Facebook account will be deactivated.

Good luck.

FACEBOOK Re Activation

Step1 Head to the Facebook Web site to reactivate your account. Step2 Log in to Facebook as if you'd never left. Use your original email address and password. Step3 Check your registered email account for a confirmation email from Facebook with directions on how to reactivate your account. Step4 Follow the link in the email. You will be taken to your home page, which will appear exactly how you left it. All your settings and events are intact upon reactivation. All you have to do is start exploring again.
