Injectors do make quite a racket but mostly they are so well insulated they can't be heard inside the car and in the engine compartment the noise just becomes part of the general engine noise.
I have noticed a few cars where the use of semi-rigid (nylon) fuel supply and return pipes transmit the noise to the bulkhead/firewall which magnifies the sound.
check oil level ---yes it can but tapping noise can be a lot more reasons --worn oil -low oil pressure--low oil level--rocker loose-worn or damaged lifter-worn damaged valves --timing chain --water pump--pulley --really anything can cause a tapping noise --try to isolate the area or sound and diagnose problem

One of my vehicles started making a rather disturbing sound so I went to investigate and to hopefully fix it.
can you determine where the noise is coming from . under the front hood or back. if you can remove the hood and look at the drive belt for fraying . also look at walking belt for fraying. any loose piece will hit something and make noise with every revolution
Its possible the oil pump is going bad, but I doubt it would make the noise you describe. Usually a tapping noise is a valve lifter or a piston connecting rod. And low oil pressure could cause either, as well as dirt blocking one of the oil passages in the engine block.
possible that the pipe's are not, secured properly in wall. and you did not say what kind of faucet you have, but if it has washer's,the screw's that hold them, may be loose.
Check Utube for lifter tap, valve tap, and rod bearing noise. If you pull each spark plug one at a time, plugging it back in after each one, the tapping will go away if it's a rod bearing. At any rate, on your next oil change add some valve-medic or similar additive for valve noise. Make sure you follow direction or you will get massive lifter tap if you pour it into a cold engine.
