Camera can't see through picture view - Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

You only can view pictures shot in the same camera. Although a camera has a micro processor, it does not have the same viewing possibilities as a computer. Sometimes when you not even see your own pictures, shot in the camera, pressing the display button several times can help or putting the camera in viewing mode. If Notting works, and you even can see something on the display while shooting pictures, you have to fear the display is defect.

If one card works and the other doesn't then it sounds like you have a defective SD card. Nothing you can do about this but buy another one and toss it.

This is why you should backup all your photos off the camera and onto permanent storage media.

Many cameras will not display pictures that were taken with a different type of camera. You should still be able to view those pictures on the original camera, a computer, or a digital photo frame.

If I may make a gentle suggestion, use your camera to take pictures. To display them, use something better suited for the task.

It probably won't work. The systems on the cameras are different. You may even corrupt the card in the process.

It is bad ccd imager problem in your Sony DSC-T1 camera and ccd imager chip will be replaced to get live view in camera mode to take pictures.

When you rotated pictures you changed picture size and definition, that is the reason why camera does not display them again.
If you check file size, you will see that rotated pictures are smaller than regular ones.
There is no way to get picture to original definition once you reduce it, however if you use a program like Photoshop you can check size and definition on original pictures, and re-rotate and resize rotated pictures to send them back to the camera, quality will be poorer than originals. Attributes to check are length and width (preferably in pixels) and definition, then you save pictures as best quality.

When I connect my camera a Microsoft screen comes up and asks how I want to view my pictures. Try going to "my computer" and verify if you see a "drive" for your camera. if you do click on it and you will be able to view your pictures

i hav the same cam. its bcoz u lost the thump files

This is a button/firmware problem Canon Customer support will advise on your next move -depending on the age of the camera

Try to remove the SD card from the camera and view the pictures. If you can still view the pictures it means that they are in the internal 8mb memory. If it is inth internal 8MB memory, you have to connect to a PC in order to transfer them.
