There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...

The most common causes are the belt breaking or jumping off, or the motor goingbad...

Hi hamptonmd,

If you have replaced all those parts, and it is still not heating, the problem is most likely the Main PC Board (Comes in 2 parts, front electronic and back electronic)

To test if this is the problem, activate the T/D and test if power is going to the element in cycle, use an advanced current protective multimeter to do this. If no power goes to the element at all, then the PC board is not providing power to it, thus it is faulty.

You may have an issue with the control board and it will not shut down once the cycle has been completed. You will need a qualified LG technician to diagnose the problem.

I would check the heating element. Hope this helps. You can take the back off but make sure it is unplugged... The heating element is in the tube long box. Hope this helps. Heating elements are easy and cheap repairs. Hope this is what is wrong.

sounds like the belt from the motor that goes aroud the tumbler is bad, i would replace the belt and check the tensioner while your in there

Had the same problem, dryer got hot but didn't stay hot. sounds like you have a bad sensor and it sounds like it's out of warranty.
