There is a problem with the mic of your device. It is quite normal for your mic to experience certain problems like poor transmission of sound and it is also a normal happening if the mic gets covered or blocked by tiny particles like dust. The following steps should be taken, if the problem persists after doing them, then you may have to send it for repairs. 1. Use a sharp pointed object like a needle to clear the opening of the mic. Be sure to do this carefully and not to push the needle all the way in as doing this could permanently damage the mic. 2. Also, check your phone or mic settings if the mic volume has been set to a very low level that it is affecting your audibility. 3. Lastly, make sure that the mic is not close to any source of noise and is not to far from the phone while you are making the call. In other words, ensure perfect connection between the phone and the headset. If the problem persists after doing this, then you have to send it for repairs. Hope this was helpful?
If the other person can hear you, then the problem is with the earpiece on the phone. The phone rings using another speaker on the base unit. Swap the mic/earpiece handset unit with another phone and use with existing base unit, to narrow down the fault.
