My Mitsubishi Medallion 1080 won't turn on

This just recently happened to my Samsung DLP. It's a pretty easy fix. You need to replace the lamp. Check your manual for the particulars of that model.

Look for any jacks that you plug auxillary sound devices into and see if you have any sound from them. Check the menu for setup and make sure that nothing in the audio is set to be off or set to external. If that is all ok, look online with that model number for audio boards.

The model indicated here is not designed for hookup with a laptop or computer at all.

hummm if i may suggest something... do you have net command enabled this would disable the speaker selection giving control of audio to other devices.

it is usually in the Audio settings,sometimes by the CC settings, if you go to the TV and enter th menu from the set, go thru one at a time until you find the spot to turn it off, it is under options or Menu on the remote also, there maybe an SAP Option on the remote itself, but you may have to press another key first like a "Function: Key.

Set the tv to stero setting this should turn sap off. This can be changed by the remote or in the enu under audio settings. MONO<STEREO<SAP are some of the choices select stereo.
