1. try to check the cable connected to your dvd player. make sure it doesnt loose and connected well
2. make sure that your dvd is well / can be used.
3. try to run another dvd to your dvd player. compare the result.

I recently had a problem similar to this. My CD player elevator jammed and wouldn't play or eject. My car was hit in the rear at about 40 mph. It unjammed the elevator..... it totaled the car also. I DON'T recommend having your vehicle totaled but perhaps a hefty whack with a rubber mallet might unjam it.

how do I remove my dvd player in my 2006 chevy uplander? I need to replace it and dont want to spend that kind of money to have it pulled out. I dont see any screws or bolts

Unplug the battery for one hour and plug back it, it should work.

when you flip it down look up between the display and the front there are screws in there

First remove the drink tray by pulling out and push down on lever in back. Then remove strip below dvd player. (this will pop off). There is 2 mounting screws behind it.Remove those. Then put a thin blade on side of silver trim. Gently pry and trim will pop off. there is 2 mounting screws behind trim for dvd player. Remove those and slide out dvd player and remove wiring harness. This is for 2005 town and country van. Now if I could only fix my dvd player. Good luck.

Hello Sorry if this seems an obvious solution, I think if you put your sat nav DVD in the rear DVD player it will recognise it and operate - only use audio CD's in the front. Hope that solves problem, sorry if not.

Cinetec (whoever they are hehe) remotes will work the Durabrand

That is not a DVD player in the glove box. It is the DVD for your navigation. It doesn't play movies.
