What work Problem with Kyocera -1500 ERROR COD C6000

SOURCE: Error C6000 is showing, can you tell me if I can fix myself or call for service.

In some cases you can reset the C 6000 - when is a false error.
try this:
1. Go to Menu/System and browse till you see
"Service".
press and hold: # START ENTER
The "Service" will go away and browse to "Maintenance".
2. Press ENTER to go in maintenace mode - the display change to Maintenance mode.
3. browse to 0163 and press ENTER - reset fuser
4. pick EXECUTE and press ENTER
5. turn the copier OFF, wait 20 seconds and power up the machine.
If C 6000 goes away it was a false error if NO ...try again and if the C6000 persist means the thermal fuse it is blown so you have to replace the fuse = call for service.

This C6000 error code is triggered by a few things all having to do with the fixing heater wire. Ask your technician to check the thermistor, the thermal cutout and the connection between the thermistor and the power supply board. My guess would be that the power surge overloaded the power supply board. This is not something that can be reset and may require new parts.
The manuals that describe the error codes are only available to Kyocera technicians, sorry.

Go into the service mode ( 10871087 ) then enter 163 then hit the start button. This clears the C6000 (heater error) and if it is a false code due to a power outage, it will clear the code and resume normal operation. If the code comes back, you likely have a bad heater lamp or thermal fuse or thermistor.

1. poor thermistor connector contact
2. thermistor broken or installed incorrectly
3. thermal cutout triggered
4. heater lamps broken or installed incorrectly

check thermistor and thermostat continuity and replace if necessary; check heater lamps installation and continuity and replace if needed; perform sim163 to reset the error code
