SOURCE: how do level the refrigerator it is a french door

most these refrigerators have a small adjustable leg in each corner. Just turn it and it should either raise or lower that leg.

SOURCE: 15 month old Kitchenaid french door refrigerator - water pooling and freezing on the bottom of tthe freezer. Seems like the grids on back wall may be the culprit, as after ice is removed they seem to

more than likely you have a clogged drain. This occurs when the machine goes into defrost and the melted ice somehow is prevented from draining and therefor refreezing and blocking the drain for the next defrost cycle. Over time it gradually builds and starts voer a larger area. Being you have a top mount refrigerator(freezer on top) there are air ways that connect the freezer to the fridege, which is how its cooled. The best way to resolve this is to unplug the machine for atleast 24-48 hours to let all ice melt
If thats not an option that you want to use the actual repair method would be to 1) unplug the machine 2) empty everything out of the freezer so you'll have room to work 3) take all the shelving and baskets out 4) locate the screws on the rear wall inside the freezer and remove them 5) take the back panel off exposing the evaporator coils ( the aluminum ) 6) directly below the coils is a trough of sorts and the drain is usually in the middle and runs out the bottom, remove the ice by carefully chipping it out or by using a hair dryer or hot water. 7) once all the ice is gone, the drain is visible and water can flow smnoothly down the drain dry the area and reassemble.
Note that on your machine you should pull the machine away from the wall so you can get behind it and remove the lower panel. Locate the drain tube that runs from the freezer, usually a black or white tube, and at the end verify it there is a rubber piece that looks like a duck bill of you will. If it is there, grab said piece and remove it from the drain line. This is the cause of the water not draining out of the freezer

SOURCE: my KitchenAid KBFA25ER Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator freezer is leaking water

just had mine repaired it is a duct bill grommet that is clogged. Found out it is common and easy to repair. My part was w10309238. Took the repair man less than 5 min. You need to pull the frig out, unplug take off the bottom pannel mine was bottom right. A small socket screwdriver is key, look for a funnel running top to bottom, in side there is the duct bill nipple that is clogged with debrie or stuck with stickly stuff like juice. Remove and replace then seal up and defrost for 24 hours by opening the freezer door.

You have a frozen drain tube. Remove the back cover after unplugging the unit. Locate the drain tube running down to the drip pan. If it is frozen, thew it with a hair dryer. In the inside, find the drain hole and pour hot water in it until it drains properly. I f it happens again your defrost element is too far away from the aluminum drain pan and needs to be GENTLY lowered closer to the drain

The bottom of my lg french door bottom freezer freezer has a layer of ice

Hi, The defrost drain is plugged. UNPLUG the refrigerator. Remove the rear inside panel in the freezer section and locates the drain hole below the evaporator coils. You will have to melt the ice in the drain hole and flush it out with hot water.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

French doors

There is a drain in the bottom of the box to allow water to run out into the pan under the unit. Sounds like it is plugged up causing air pressure to be able to build when you shut either door.
