How can I get a cross reference of us HP inkjet cartridge vs HP inkjet cartridge in Algeria

OEM (pronounced as separate letters) is short for original equipment manufacturer

The Cartridges for the HP DeskJet 3740 InkJet Printer are:

HP 27 Black Original Ink Cartridge
HP 28 Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge

These can be purchased from your local store that sells HP Printers & ink or by going to HP.com and ordereing direct from the Manufacturer

Take print out of configure page, check the usage of paper axis, spit on,carriage,service station, and others includes FW.. identify which was crossed beyond 100%,replace them..update FW..confirm once be fore replacing the spares...

you have to use genuine cartridges

it prints fine using the new hp 15 black ink cartridge. But when I print with the new color 17 cartridge, it comes out with uneven 'cross lines' of color, like sliced sideways.

Could you do a "diagnostic" print? As it might be that the colours con your tricolour cartridge have been cross-contaminated**
To test the purity of the colour just go to word, excel or any other application, Create a document that has pure colour squares or you can print page 1 of this link . Then compare the colours of the page on the screen versus what you got. if the colours are off, it means your cartridge has been cross contaminated. Sadly a cross contaminated cartridge can't be fixed. So if you just bought it I would recommend you return it :(

**: (this could be the results of refilling, storing the cartridge in the wrong container or on very rare occasions a HP manufacturing issue).

The ink cartridges that can be used with this printer are HP92(black), HP93(tricolor), and HP99(photo). You can use other brands that cross over to the HP numbers but they would be the only cartridges you should use for proper operation.

Please refer to this HP support article to check the function of your print cartridge, and if necessary clean the cartridge contacts. This article may help in replacing the cartridges, and if you have difficulty aligning them, refer to these instructions.
If you continue to have error messages and there is no apparant cause, please reset the printer by following these instructions.

I replaced my ink cartridge on my HP 5280 Photosmart. Now it says, "refer to printer documentation". What do I do?
