Need to calibrate kenmore washer 11021302012 - Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer

Give this a try to see if it'll reset...disconect power to it for 30 seconds while no power press power button for 10 seconds then press the start/pause button for 10 seconds. Plug in or turn breaker back on and see if it reset.

Whining is actually indicative of it working slickly. It should quieten down, but no problem if it doesn't.

I don't have a model number but it sounds like the unit is in the life test mode. I'm assuming that since you have tried to calibrate it, you know how to get into the test mode. PUT THE UNIT INTO TEST MODE, THEN TURN 13 CLICKS TO THE RIGHT SO THAT WASH, RINSE AND CYCLE COMPLETE OR END OF CYCLE IS LIT. PRESS START. ALL LIGHTS SHOULD GO OUT AND NOW YOU ARE OUT OF THE LIFE TEST MODE. THIS IS USED AT THE FACTORY FOR EXTENDED TESTING AT FACTORY WITHOUT HAVE TO RESTART WASHER

Pull the top off the cabinet, check and make sure there is nothing stuck between the drum and the tank. If there is nothing then you need to pull the drum and check the bearings and the gear case.

you need to get into diagnostic mode and check the error codes. This washer will give you couple of error codes but the first one is the latest. To check error codes

After calibration/resetting the codes, check error code again that will give you correct error code. If there's no error possible problem is the actuator.

LD code is long drain one of 2 things the drain pump is frozen and need to be replaced or there is somthing in the pump. Pull the washer a way from the wall a bit and get a bunch of towels. Lean the washer back against the wall towards the middle in the back you will see the pump take it apart and find the clog.

push the knob to off and turn knob only to you left...off is in..always unplug unit first

when you reassembled the case you have pinched the clear tube that goes to the water pressure switch aginst the case and back panel, lift up the console remove the case clips and make sure that the pressure hose comes up through the curve part in the case if pinched off the pressure switch will not satisfy
