My Nokia n 72 says sim card rejected

PUK Code
PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a unique eight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PIN number to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are then given 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. Hi do not enter any number if you don't make sure,First try to enter the number which is written on the back side of the Sim card for once.If it doesn't help call/contact your sim card operator.They are the only one who can solve your problem.Personal Unlocking Key is a unique key which is maintain by particular Sim Card operator.If you enter wrong key repeatedly your sim card will damage.So, do as what I have said to avoid "Sim Card Rejected".Thanks for visiting fixya

your sim card is rejected because you have entered wrong PUK code more 20 times. and you can't recover your sim by any means so buy a new sim card of same number please talk to customer care what to do. bye

Actually its not security code..Its SIM PIN NUMBER..

PIN CODE is SIM dependent and not phone dependent

PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times,
This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUK if PIN is blocked...

if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM

Now since the SIM is rejected, you have buy new SIM requesting that your SIM is rejected from the operator

If you enter a wrong PUK number 10 times than you sim card gets rejected. Then you will have to but a new sim card. It might happen that your phone might ask you for PUK2 after you enter your PUK number.

If you log onto your companys website under your account and go to the option that says devices you can get the puk code- If you enter in too many numbers it will permanently block your sim card and you will have to buy a new sim card from your cell phone company- they are about $20
