SOURCE: belt fitting for a WF000 hotpoint washer?

It should go around 2 wheels; one is the pulley of the motor, where there is a good groove. The other goes around the tub wheel which is big one. First fit to the motor wheel then fit to one side of this big wheel & turn the wheel to engage it gently. The belt should have a "give" of only half an inch, or it will be too loose or too tight.

SOURCE: Hotpoint Aquarius WD440, Rinse Hold, Time Saver and On/Off light flashing

This is typical of a control board problem.
About 60% of the time they can be repaired, but it's easier to replace it than keep testing.

If you are competent at electrical repairs, then read -on, otherwise order a replacement, and have it fitted.

Isolate supply.
Remove top cover by removing screws at top rear, slide cover rearwards.
Control board is on right at the front.
Test connections - remove and replace all connections, checking for signs of arcing.
Check main wiring loom to motor for integrity and damage.
If no signs of damage, remove control unit board, and examine for arcing or poor contacts, overheated components or damage.

If everything still looks ok, a replacement control board should be fitted and the machine tested.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: need to clean fillter on hotpoint wf000

The filter is located behind the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom. Four screws hold it on. The filter is inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. In side is a white molded cone and a big white ball which floats in side. You will find a lot of junk here, clean out. To refit put white cone back inside just as you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the gator to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip. Would be good to check out the pump too.

SOURCE: hotpoint washer dryer lights flashing

Check first the thermal fuse.

Test heating element to ensure is not grounded, and staying always on. Test the fan and ventilation system.

If you find no fault in there , then test the timer control board.

HOTPOINT AQUARIUS WF 250 ON/OFF LIGHTS FLASHING

The lights are set off by the balance sensors. And if your balance sensors are  stopping    it from spinning than you first have to make sure the washer is level. You  could have bad Shocks and a bad electronic control board,.

Flashing power light and rinse hold light

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
