If you Tablet is set to another language other than English then & is Android. Open settings, the blue icon with slide controls. Count down the list 11 spaces(3 spaces in the 3rd heading, should be the same) & open, this is the Language & input screen, count down 11 languages & English is 11-16 on the list alphabeticaly. Eg Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Etc, Etc. Tick English as the default language & Tablet language should be English. Keep going down the list until the correct English is selected. Hope this helps. How do I change the language back to English
You need to perform a reset. to do this you'll need to insert a paper clip into the RESET hole on the back of the tablet. Hold the reset in (for about 8 seconds) the tablet will reboot and you should have English again (Assuming the you bought it in a English speaking country.)

Want to choose english language
Select settings, on the apps page, scroll down to language etc. and hit, select the language you want, presumably English, then try the phone. or tablet. The machine will now be in English. If you then reset it will probably go back to the language in which you got the phone so do not do it!

7" Zeepad tablet switched to Japanese somehow.
Hi!

To change the language back to English on your Zeepad tablet, try the following:

1) Tap the Settings icon (in some versions, it is a square icon with blue lines, in others, it looks like a small gear).

2) Scroll up and tap the "Language & input" icon (a square icon with the A letter).

3) Now, tap the "Language" selection (the topmost one)

4) Tap on "English (your country)" and then tap the arrow to go back.
