SOURCE: Bucket fills up instead of water flowing out hose
There must be a blockage in the hose causing the water to back up and flow into the bucket. Try pushing a flexble peice of wire through the hose to unblock it.
SOURCE: Water from LG 30 pt dehumidifier drains into
(assumming you are not an idiot, like the other solver suggested) you may very well have it connected to the right spot, many of these units, are not balanced well, (or are balnaced all to well, depending on how you look at it) The imbalance, basically makes the water drip to the front, instead of the back. Try to put something under just the front of the machine, to tilt it back, ever so slightly. Good luck
SOURCE: The dehumidifier runs fine and the condensor seems
Hi,
There are many reasons for a dehumidifier to not work or collect water.
Here is a tip that I wrote to help people to figure out what is going wrong with their dehumidifier.
Dehumidifier is running but no water is in bucket

How long did you leave it unplugged? It should be left unplugged for several hours. Also check that the drain tube isn't plugged up and that the filter is clean.

Hi,
The problem is with a sensor...
Change the sensor assembly, Part # 6877A30013M from Appliance Factory Parts in Englewood CO, about $30. Easy to change, plugs into control board, remove old temperature probe by pry T-well open with small screwdriver and then crimping back closed when new sensor is installed, about an hour start to finish, hardest part is getting all the covers off.
The sensor can also be found at RepairClinic.com for about $18.00 plus shipping. Their internal PN is 1462299. There is a new OEM... PN ending in "R" that replaces the old PN ending in "M".
