Clamp one compressor wire if register exceed the laber amphere of motor motor are stuck or burn/
If not register the clamp meter check the thermal control might burn or lost contact.

SOURCE: I bought a Lg

An 11'500 btu Is appr. 1 ton of cooling capacity or enough to cool approximatly 450 sq ft of floor area. Be sure to read the instructions of course and be sure that all the packaging material was removed that may be restricting airflow. On high you should be able to easily feel the air blowing 10-15 ft from the unit and the air should be dropping about 15- 20 degrees when it exits the unit. So if the room temperature is 85 degrees the air exiting the unit should be around 65 -70. The amount of time it takes to cool the entire room depends on how big the room is and how much and the intensity of the heat infiltrating the room and the number and heat output of appliances and people in the room. Hope this helps you out GL!

SOURCE: Air conditioner compressor keeps shutting down

This is due to thermal overload,Which can be caused by low oil in the compressor, the fan has stopped running on the unit outside,Dirty coils,or just a worn out compressor.Although this is thermal overload,It has nothing to do with outside temperature,But rather the internal temperature of the compressor itself.

I install 2 new honeywell non programmable thermostats. The temp never reaches the setting temp. Always 5 to 8 degrees off. I can not get the furnace to heat the home over 70 degrees. Even set at 80. Any...

If the furnace is cycling on and off and not reaching temp there is a problem in the control circuit. If the thermostat is not satisfied the furnace should be running without shutting off in which case the capacity of the furnace is inadequate because of size or problems reducing the capacity. This could be caused by an increase in home size, poor air flow (dirty filter, loose fan belts, fan running slow, obstructions in the duct), dirty heat exchanger or burner, reduced gas flow, over temperature switch bad causing the burner to shut off early, or a few more technical reasons. You may do well to call a technician to troubleshoot this problem.

Is it normal for my furnace to have burner cycle once or twice

That sounds normal. When the bonnet reaches a preset temperature the burner turns off then when it cools down a bit the burner turns back on. Clean filters etc will help to keep the burner on longer in a cycle.

Your control may a defected relay to the blower under heating mode. If that is the case you will need a new control board or replay.

My Ruud furnace used to regulate 1 deg +\- the set temp. Now it regulates right at the set temp and the fan cuts off while the burner continues to fire for a minute or so then the fan kicks back on for...

Hi,
It appears to be the fan limiter switch. It comes on at a certain temp when heating up and shuts off on the high end of its setting. Once the burners are shut down, the fan continues for a few minutes to cool down the burners. The limiter switch is adjustable but it sounds to me to be defective and should be replaced. Good luck and stay warm, :-)

Fan runs long after room reaches desired temp. heat goes off and fan continues to blow cold air, have a protech 520 thermostat

Is your 'Heater' you are talking about-- A furnace-- with a burner and a blower?

Either way-- We need to adjust a control that determines WHEN THE FAN RUNS--

Most furnaces have a section where the heated air collects, and there has to be a sensor in that chamber, that senses when that air is warm enough to circulate around--- and when the burner shuts off, the air in that area cools down, and the sensor should shut off the fan-

Can you find the Heated air area?-- and can you find a temperature control in that area?-- Can you adjust the control, so that it shuts off the fan when the air temp drops to 100- to 120 degrees F...
