A few things to look for is make sure the developer roller and drum are actually turning (missing gear, teeth, etc...). Are any obstuctions blocking the developer from brushing the drum (I place paper between the drum and developer so I don't scratch the drum during *ssembly, if I forget to remove it - code). And make sure the connectors are secure.
It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required.
Someone forgot to remove the tone
seal of the PCU
ID sensor defective
TD sensor abnormal
Drum does not turn

Poor connection of the PCU

Hi, SC 392 Possible causes -
· Someone forgot to remove the toner seal of the PCU
· ID sensor defective
· TD sensor abnormal
· Drum does not turn
· Development roller does not turn
· Poor connection of the PCU Regards,
SC392 is a problem with your Photoconductor unit (PCU)...could be the density sensor, drum or developer roller not turning. Is it a new unit? Have all the seals been removed? It could be as simple as a bad connection. try removing and re-installing the unit. I don't want to necessarily say just order another unit, because the problem could be on the drive of the machine, But it is most likely the PCU itself. Just a question, when you turn the power off/on, are you using the MAIN power switch (red button)? The button on the control panel will not reset anything.
