Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you want to know how to turn off the power save mode for your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FFRE12L3Q1. Your appliance will run in energy saver(econ) mode when used for the first time. In this mode, the fan will continue to run for 1 minute after the compressor shuts off. The fan then cycles on for 20 seconds at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor turns back on. You will be able to turn the energy save mode off by selecting your temperature as well as your fan speed. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

My Frigidaire AC unit doesn't want to turn onafter plugging it in

Thank you for your inquiry, Eddie!

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire air conditioner is not turning on after you have plugged it in. I have identified a few possibilities of what could be causing the problem with your air conditioner to be the control panel or power cord. You may be able to perform a reset on your air conditioner by unplugging the power cord and pressing the reset button. You should hear a click and then press the test button. Once you plug it in it should start. If your air conditioner does not start I would suggest contacting the manufacturer for any additional assistance. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Hi friend, that's a great question!

To reset your Frigidaire air conditioner you would need to make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged. On the power cord you will see a test button, push that button and you will hear a click. You would then press the reset button you will hear a click again signifying that the appliance has been reset. Then plug your air conditioner back in and it should be reset. -Matt

How can I turn on the energy saver on my LWHD2400HR air conditioner? There is no switch on the A/C, only an indicator light that says "Energy Saver"?

The Energy Saver mode is activated by using the hand held remote control, that comes with the unit. Pressing the Energy Saver button activates it. Once activated the fan will shut OFF when the the compressor does. After which, about every 3 minutes the fan will turn ON to check the room air to determine if cooling is needed.

It sounds like, you're missing the hand held remote control?

Shutting off

I would try the same solution as the E1 error code, Not sure if it will work, but it seems to be the same issue

1. Power down the air conditioner using the "power" button on the front
panel.
2. Unplug the air conditioner from the wall socket.
3. Hold the front panel "power" button down and plug the air
conditioner in. Continue to hold the power button down as the machine
goes through a brief test sequence (fan & compressor each come on
briefly, etc). There is a "beep" sound at the end of the test sequence,
and the machine will be off. At this point, you can release the power
button.
4. Unplug the air conditioner.
5. Plug the air conditioner back in.
6. Congratulations! You should now be able to operate the air
conditioner normally for another 720 hours, but only if you followed
the instructions above EXACTLY.
