The best way to clear the drain line is by using a shop vac and sucking out the blockage and the water. This will make sure all the goop in there comes out. Let me know if you need anything else.

Can you help direct me to what the drain line looks like and how to disconnect it to try to blow it out? I also have a Fujitsu split - AST12 series. I even have the operating manual (it's easily found online) but I can find any reference to the drain line and how to blow it out. Thank you for any help you can give!!

My fridge is leaking water from inside the unit. I can't tell where it's coming from. I think it's a plugged line. Can you tell me how to fix this?

Hi,

This model is a top freezer unit, so check on the freezer first. There should be a drain in the back, behind the false wall, under the evaporator. Clear this if its clogged. Check all tubes and connection you just removed for ice or food. Now remove the control panel inside the refer section. (I assume you already unplugged this from the wall). Once the control unit in down look for the obstruction in the drain well toward the rear of the panel. If clear, check the tube below in the back by the compressor, this should look like a "u" shaped tube that sits above a pan. Make sure everything is clear, this is the complete drain system. Somewhere its obstructed. Good Luck

I have a Frigidaire heavy duty 8 cycle super capacity top loader and the water is not draining during rinse cycle. How can I fix it?

there is something blocking the pump.you will need to remove the two screws at the bottom of the front panel ten use a flat tip screwdriver to push the tabs in on the front to lift the lid. once you remove the front panel you will be able to see the drain pump.
if you have a wet dry shop vac then you can use it to attach to the end of the drain hose.and remove the water once the water is removed take off the hoses to the pump and check for obstructions.
make sure to check the hose that come from the bottom of the tub to the pump. once you have cleared and obstructions you can put the unit in a drain mode and check the impellar wheel if it still does not work then you may have a faulty lid switch.

My washer wont drain the water gives me a E20 meassage how do I fix this

Use a wet drry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove all the water. Then you need to remove the front panel and door boot gasket to get at the drain pump remove the hoses from the drain pump and check for any obstructions.
the will also be a plastic coin trap in the black boot that comes down from the bottom of the tub this may also need to be clean out. if there are no obstructions then the door lock or the drain pump needs to be replaced. but removeing any obstructions should solve this problem

We have a kenmore, front loader 4 and it has started flashing F o2, not sure why

"F02" is a Long Drain error code. This is an indication that there's an obstruction in the drainage system somewhere. Most commonly, the drain pump reservoir needs to be checked and cleaned. The access screws are on the lower toe panel directly below the door in the FRONT of the washer. They are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. You may need to prop up the two front feet of the washer to access them (a 2x4 works well for this). The following link explains:

https://www.fixya.com/support/r3574284-checking_the_drain_pump_on_a_front_loade

It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor on these small drain pumps. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced. If the pump requires replacement, the following link explains how:

Replacements can be purchased online at any of the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

Prices vary between these sites, so shop and compare.

If you have any questions about this repair, or need additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: Make sure you also check ALL the drain hoses for obstructions. This is includes the drain hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Small articles of clothing can find their way into the drain lines and become lodged.

THE DISHWASHER DOES NOT DRAIN. THE PIPES ARE OK . EVERYTHING LOOKS FINE .

Check the following:

Debris that may be interfering with the drain in the bottom of the dishwasher - especially if the unit has a soft disposal. You may have to remove the lower wash arm and housing cover.

Check the drain line and be sure it's clear to the sink drain spur and that there are no kinks or other obstructions

Check the check valve on the discharge from the dishwasher - even small obstructions can cause this valve to plug or jam -this usually requires removal of the front lower panel - look for the drain line connection to the dishwasher - the check valve is usually screwed into a housing. Be careful un-screwing it. You may need a shallow pan to drain water into when you remove the drain line and check valve if there is still water in the dishwasher

It also could be the pump, but check all of the above first.

Finally, it could be the circuit board, but you didn't indicate there were any other problems with the dishwasher other than the drain

Washer gets ld code

The ld fault is a long drain error. Check your drain pump reservoir and drain hoses for clogs. Removing the agitator in my opinion would be unnecessary. Unplug your machine and remove the back panel. There should be a drain pump reservoir at the bottom under the wash basin. They are notorious for collecting lint and hair and can obstruct the drain flow. You can also squeeze along the drain lines and feel for obstructions. To access the drain pump itself, its easier to remove the front panel. You will need to release the two metal hold down clips located under the front lip approx. two inches from either side. You need a putty knife to push in on the clips and lift on the top front at the same time. Once you have the top released, lift up and remove two screws holding the front panel. The front panel should pull away leaving an open access to the inside cabinet. The drain pump is located on the lower right-hand side of the wash tub at the very bottom of the unit. You can easily remove the two drain lines at the pump and check for obstructions there as well. Again, unplug the unit before servicing the pump. I hope this helps.
