Well the only way is to download a emulator. A emulator is like a online video game console. Like VBA=VisualBoy Advance. <----- is like a gameboy color/Advance.

You have to buy a certain device that transfers your gameboy to your pc; you can get it at Gamestop.

if you guys are talking about a pc-gameboy emulator then yes Visual Boy Advance is your solution. it allows you to play gameboy games right on your computer and ther are many cracked games to make gameplay a lot easier http://vba.ngemu.com/ but, if you would like cracked games for your gameboy i am sure it is possible but you run a prety good risk of downloading viruses and such off of torrent websites. i would suggest actually buying those games. Put the GBA game in the gba slot on the ds and start the pokemon ds game after beating the elite four, and choose migrate pokemon (or transfer pokemon) then go to the national park to find your transfered pokemon.

the best one for a game boy rom (the game files are called roms) is 'visualboy advance' known popularly as 'vba' for short(I think the latest version is 1.7.2 but any version will do). To play a rom(gameboy game file) double click the icon and a window might appear saying if you want to run the file, cilck run, then another window will appear, click file from the menu, then click open/open gameboy(same thing), then search for the rom file(gameboy games file) and double click.
