Hi Chris,
This is very annoying indeed. Try Googling some solutions like, "'iPad Model Name' Freezing issue after updating to 'iOS Version'"(Insert model name where 'iPad Model Name' & 'iOS Version' is stated). It is very hard to figure out your problem without your iPad Model and what iOS version you have updated to.
My advice if you cant find anything:
1. Power off your Device.
2. Connect your Device to your computer and open iTunes.
3. Back Up your device.
4. Click restore. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252

That's because it's simply not powerful enough to handle ios8. I know apple gave the update but unless they give a new bug fixing update to fix the crashing, your stuck with ios8 and a crashing iPad.
I have my iPad 2 with ios7 and I'm not planning to update it.
- to update is now only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a connected computer.
Plug it into your computer and open up itunes, under devices click on your ipad which should appear on the left and then click on check for update.
This tutorial will explain how to force your iPad to restart if it gets stuck or freezes up.
Forcing your iPad to restart will not cause any loss of data - with the possible exception of any work you were doing at the time the iPad and/or App froze, forcing you to restart it.
Click and hold down the Sleep/Wake button (located on the upper-right corner of your iPad). While you're holding down the Sleep/Wake button, hold down the Home button as well (located on the front of your iPad at the bottom). Hold down both buttons until your iPad powers off. It will reboot and start again with a small silver Apple image on the screen. It takes about 30 seconds for the iPad completely start up.
Well first I would like to say don't and I repeat don't buy cheats EA is very strict on this and could ban your account for doing so.
1. Depending on how its froze up you could try restarting the app itself. Double press the home button (the round one) and you will see a list of running apps pop up depending on ur ios version u should just be able to slide it up and off the screen. Then try to restart the app.
2. If it still doesn't work restart your ipad by holding the button on the top button and slide to power off. Once it comes back on try again.
3. Next try to delete the app by pressing on it and holding. The apps will begin to shake and you may delete it from there. Once its deleted restart the ipad then reinstall it from the app store.
4. Finally would be doing a hard reset. Hold the "Sleep/Wake" button on the upper right of your iPad along with the circular "Home" button on the lower middle part of the device's bezel. After 10 seconds, you should see the Apple logo.
5. If none of these work you may have an ongoing issue that you will need to wait for an update from EA to fix.
you should first bring up the ipads performance and then do the multitask thing and of the line goes flat to the top that means u need a new performance update.
Hanging/ Freezing iPads is not rare. It can really bound to happen even the device is idle. (for me.) All I can think of is that considering holding the power/sleep button of your iPad, to make the device shut down. Or sometimes holding the button can recover the frozen iPad. (Happened once for me.)
Can someone help me with my software? I updated to iOS 8.0 yesterday and now my iPad keeps freezing up, I sell on eBay and now my puctures won't download, can I go back to 7.0?
