This is a very hard question to answer without me actually being there to see how it is configured at the moment. If you go into settings, email, calendars, etc, look to see if your password is configured correctly. iOS email is not hard to troubleshoot, but one must be there to see how it is configured now. Tell me this, is this a password issue? Do you need to change your email password? If you have an external email account that is added to the iPad, the password that you configured on your external account is the password you have to use on your iPad. If you changed your password in the FB app, you will also need to change the native iOS/Auth module in setting on the iPad. Once you do this, you should sync up. See the image to see where to do this
on the iPad, goto settings. Then E-mail, contacts, agendas. there select the yahoo account. Then press account. There you can change the password.
After you changed the password the iPhone will check if you did it right. If is accepts the code, you can leave the settings and in the e-mail app you now can read the mail.
