SOURCE: Squealing Fisher Paykel Dryer DE05-US2

dryer's have a long belt that runs around the drum. a common culprit is an idler pulley on the belt tensioner. you can take off the front of the dryer and oil it for a temp fix. it will probably need to be replaced

SOURCE: dryer tries to start - then stops and beeps PLEASE HELP

Check the exhaust hose. If the dryer isn't venting properly it will either stop or the heater will turn off and the clothes will remain wet. If the hose is not clogged check the wall vent tube.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel DEGX2 Dryer. Need heating element changed?

I had the same problem. Everyone continued to tell me that I needed a new heating element, clean lint trap, etc. However, I took the front off of the dryer and located the heating element. On the front of the heating element, in between two wires, there is a red button. Push the button and you might hear a click that sounds similar to a circuit breaker. It is a reset button for the heating element. Try that and it might help.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel Auto Sensor Dryer stops & beeps constantly

Hi emkboyce

my Fisher Paykel auto sensor dryer keeps stopping and beeping, i have to stop it and and re start.

I had the same problem. I took it off the wall and vacuumed up all the lint from everywhere including around the back and including taking off the back and vacuuming everything I could reach inside. I then used a damp cloth to get rid of the rest of the lint/dust.

I thought I was wasting my time but guess what, the problem has gone.

Good luck!

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel ED56 not working

Replace (repair) the exhaust sensor this looks like a transistor with the middle leg cut off. it is situated below the lint filter but can only accessed by removing the back panel, top panel (or rear screws to allow the removal of the drum). drum and then front panel to remove the connector from the mainboard. If you follow the exhaust tube once the back is off you will see a single phillips head screw that is the sensor. check the wires to the circuit board are not broken or dry joints or just replace it. sorry i had a spare machine i scavenged from to fix my problem so i dont know where to buy new.

Aerosmart dg62t27dw2 belt squeeking and making clothes stink

Your belt is not on the pulley correctly. You will likely need to purchase a new belt as the damage has likely been done. Remove back cover and then remove casing (video on youtube) Replace belt. You may be able to fix quicker by flipping dryer on side and replacing the belt from the bottom, but it is a tight fit.

The dryer won't run. Dry, extra dry, and coold down process lights are lit.

Hi, the lights are signaling a control fault the is concerning the logic sector of the control board/timer. you will need to make sure that the wiring harness is connected to all points and it should be in good condition. if there are no apparent issue with the wiring harness, replace the control.
