Re From Walking mode to driving mode

This means the application has not loaded or it has an issue with the application. Download the full instructions from tomtom website to reinstall you tomtom with fresh application and program etc. YOU MUST back up your device first and ensure you have a copya of the map as you cannot download this. make a backup first and use tomtom home program to install the new application, copy your map back to the device etc. the instructions from tomtom are pretty straightforward to follow. Also contacting tomtom support will get you help in reinstalling the application.

The TomTom 910 sat-nav is offeredin many markets and instructions are available in numerous languages, includingGerman, Italian, Spanish and English. If your instructions are in a languageother than English, you can use this article to get started and make a journey. INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
1 Turn on the 910 using the "on/off" button and tap on the screento answer some questions that the TomTom will ask you. After you have answeredthe questions, the GO will show the "Driving View," which appears inmonochrome until the GO finds your location. It then transitions to color.
2 Place the TomTom outside inan open space without tall trees or large buildings around you, and the TomTomwill find the location. It can take up to five minutes when starting the TomTomfor the first time. The "Driving View" appears in color when the GOhas positioned itself.
3 Tap the screen to launch themain menu and touch "Navigate to" then "Address." Choosebetween "City Center,""Postcode" and so on. Type the details onto the screen using theletter-pad. Touch "Done" when you are finished and the TomTom willcalculate the route.
4 Stay on the route by following the map on the screenand by listening to the voice prompts. The TomTom will immediately startguiding you. The "Driving View" will show the name of the next road,the next instruction and your current position in addition to otherinformation.

Turn the GPS on. Tap on the LOWER RIGHT square of the main screen. Then tap on the "FIND ALTERNATIVE ROUTE" button. One of the options should be "recalculate route"

By the way, a TomTom GPS will automatically recalculate the route if you make a wrong turn or if you go past a street you should have taken.

After you program your destination using 'Navigate to...', you can specify your specific instructions by using 'Find alternative' -> 'Travel via' and/or 'Avoid part of the route' until the generated route largely satisfy your requirements. then finally, 'Calculate alternative'

try uninstalling the home program and then reintalling the home program again....first follow www.tomtom.com/9545 do FULL uninstall
then www.tomtom,.com/5122 to install home program again

Truck routes are not possible....the unit is designed for everyday road to road navigation only...

There might be a function that saves power between route instructions, try to turn this off...

not a chance at all...very sorry...the bluetooth on your unit is only to be used for the TomTom Services..likeTraffic.....but here is another hint...it will ony wirk with compatible phones...and only from tmobile and at&t
