Hi Charlie Weiler;
I have a feeling this is what you want this link I've provided below.
the orifices are usually not an issue -- 80 years of technological improvements re: shape, size, material used to create the channel the orifices are drilled in.... if its not lighting after 90 seconds and you pull the broiler drawer and see the igniter glowing red... it's weak - and not hot enough to trip the switch that allows the safety valve to open and allow the gas in. In the link is the replacement part and repair video. I have not checked the video for this particular model. but this company - sells the part and they are usually spot on with dyi help. (locally you should be able to buy an igniter .. $45.00+tax and replace in 3 hours - counting getting the part. Samsung Oven Broiler Problem

I have a K/A kgst307 gas stove that was bought new as a natural gas unit. After 3 years, I moved to a house that had propane. NO PROBLEM because an LP conversions kit came with the stove. Used the stove on...

Although the natural gas orifices for the stove top burners were replaceable with propane orifices, many ovens/broilers orifices are simply adjustable using a 1/2" open end wrench to convert from one gas to another. Some brands are adjustable and some have to be changed out. It depends on the make and model. Do you have your owner's manual? It contains detailed info on converting your unit. I included a link below to choose from the list to download your manual. You'll need your exact model # listed on your stove. Pull out the bottom drawer and look at the data plate for the model # and then find it on the list for the correct manual. Douglas

Broiler works but oven won't light like it's not

Hello,
The first thing you want to check is if the small shutoff lever built into the appliance valve has been accidently closed. This appliance valve is either in the back of the unit or under the top near the back. When you converted the stove, you also had to convert this same appliance regulator by flipping the top. Look at it again and see if there is also a small lever on the outside of it. Flip it and see if you get gas to the oven. If that doesn't solve it, did you adjust the oven orifice down? Although some models do swap out the oven orifices, so be sure you used the correct size. Make sure you have enough air on the adjustable air shutter on the end of the burner tube at the orifice. Typically it should be open 1/2 to 3/4 of the way. Since it is a used stove, it may have a spiderweb or bug nest blocking the burner inside, so you may have to remove it to inspect it. Does the oven require a pilot? If it doesn't have electronic ignition, then a pilot has to be lit before the oven will light. If it does have electronic ignition, is it glowing orange at all? These things are a lot easier to trouble shoot when you're looking at it, so I'm just throwing out ideas for you to check. Hope this helps you. I'm a propane guy, so let me know if you need more assistance and I'll try to help you further! Douglas

I have changed the brners over and thay work fine. But the only thing I could find to change on the oven was in the back.I flipped the orifice but oven smoke3s heavily And flames are too high.

You must remove the oven racks and the base pan inside the oven to access the bake burner gas valve. Using a 1/2 open end wrench you will tighten the orifice on top of the gas valve until the flame is the correct length.
If your model has a top broiler,the broiler gas valve will have to be adjusted also.

Large yellow flames after the oven is on and getting up temp

The needle maybe damaged or missing inside of the hood, unscrew the hood and remove it, look at the needle and make sure it is intact, put a little liquid soap into the hood threads and screw it back on until it bottoms out, it will be much easier to feel it bottoming out if it has lube on it, if this does not work, call them and have them send you a LP specific hood rather than the adjustable type.

Gas leaks into oven when i turn on the broiler

You have what we called delay ignition. may be the broiler ignitor too far away from broiler, partially clogged broiler orifice or bad ignitor, I"ll check the Amperage on the ignitor, it should draw above 3 AMPs, if not, then I'll change the ignitor first then check the orifice. Have fun.

Problem with conversion of used Whirlpool Range from NAT to LP

Take a 1/2 inch open end wrench and adjust the orifice on top of the oven gas valve.
Tighten it down until the flame is normal. Blue with white tips.
