Your machine may be out of balance. It could be that your loads are not well dispersed (such as mixing a load of socks with a bedspread...). Or it could be that your machine is not level on the floor it is sitting on. Sometimes that will be an issue. I have had squeaking sounds before and those helped me, that said, I also tried to find your manual and look in the "trouble shooting" section, but the link was broken.
I hope this helped at least a little!

SOURCE: Maytag Washing Machine Stops after wash cycle...
sounds as if you have abad contact in the timer
advance the timer to a different spin cycle and see if it spins
then bo back to where it stops
if it will spin in the other spin cycles but not where it stops the the timer will need to be changed
SOURCE: Maytag Washer Getting stuckon wash cycle
the possibility of it being the timer is most likely..as the rest of the cycles remain ok.. if you require a timer, you can get one here at this link..(click the link here) http://www.easyapplianceparts.com/AdvancedModelSearch.aspx?ModelNum=HAV4657EWW&mfgModelNum=&fkMfgID=1
please be aware that you will need the machine serial number in order for them to issue you with the correct part/s you will require.. parts are cross referenced with the serial number.
these diagrams will also enlarge in order for you to maintain your machine by yourself at little but the cost of the parts required... but please DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY REPAIR YOURSELF if you think you may not have the technical know how to follow these technical drawings..hope this helps

Check for the tighten nut to agatator is tighten. If agatator is lose it floats up and down during the wash. There is a lock ring (rubber) on the shaft that holds the agatator on, check this, if off replace thid . If the agatator is still in good shape can still use it , if not pull of and replace it. This work is't hard to do.
