Turn sansui lcd32 hwb on green light activates but no picture or sound

There is a problem with tuner module, try connecting with DVD if normal then the easiest way is to replace the tuner module

No, DX-LCD32 has a known problem with both the inverter and the CCFL lamps or, to be precise, the connections of those lamps, which tend to rust, desolder and break contact.

Doesn't mean that's the problem your TV has, but I am just noting that it is not the main board they are known to have a big problem with.

And the symptoms you describe would rather suggest a functioning main board than a bad one.

Lack of sound is probably simply because you're not having the TV on the right AV input.

You could try to adjust the colour setting in the PICTURE menu and keep a enough distance between the tv and other electronic objects in the room.
