Reset the unit at the household circuit breaker and retry. PAU means the unit is paused either by a blockage and the sensor won't let the unit continue, or it was manually paused by a button press.
Check out the door switch to make sure that it closes when you latch the front door. If it does not close the machine will be inoperative - safety measure.
try finding the manual release..on my bosch nexxt 300 there is an access panel on front lower right of unit for the drain if i open it and reach up there is a cable to pull on to manually unluck the door...have wet vac ready as there might be water from a clogged drain causeing washer to keep door locked
try unplugging the machine for 10 minutes, plug it back in and see if it will reset,if not you could have a button stuck inor a bad touch panel, send the model number next time located around the door opening.
To open the door, remove the bottom panel. Teach up inside on the lock side and find the pull ring. Pull on the ring while putting pressure on the door. It will open. Have the door lock wax motor and mechanism replaced.
Hmmm..just a simple option would be to make sure nothing is blocking the door from closing all the way...if that doesnt work Id try unplugging the machine and plugging it back in to reset the computer.
